Welcome to the
Canadian
Pediatric
Imaging
Platform
C-PIP
Our mission
We are a group of brain experts in Canada, who want to learn how the human brain changes, from birth to adolescence, to prevent, diagnose and treat children with brain disorders.
About C-PIP
The Canadian Pediatric Imaging Platform (C-PIP) is studying how the brain develops using magnetic resonance imaging, also known as MRI. The project aims to learn more about how the brain changes across life. The project will also look at how conditions, like preterm birth or concussion, can disrupt the brain’s development.
C-PIP will make it easier for experts to share data between research sites in a secure way. This makes it possible for different researchers to use the same data to answer different questions.
Brain experts from across Canada are
coming together to improve the future of
child brain health.
